Our last day of travel back home--very sad we will miss our nomadic life. We had got the camp set-up waxed, an hour and tents up, beds made, and braai on the go--pretty good going. But we planning our next trip... Watch this space if you not too bored! Sterkfontein Dam another of our GREAT dams. Last signal stop Sunrise at HOME _________ We spent the weekend sorting and tweaking our set-up, ready for the next time.
After a wonderful detachment time in Richtersveld, we moving on sadly. First priority is petrol and of course the nearest station is not functioning due to power issues!!! The best and worst of S.A. We had hoped to see the Orange River mouth in Alexander Bay but that was a complete waste of time--probably the least attractive town S.A. has to offer with zero accommodation and you can't get to the mouth. So we had to say farewell to the Orange with our Richtersveld memories.
Now on to new things - the FLOWER ROUTE. The flowers en-route to our overnight stop in McDougalls Bay were beautiful just on the side of the roads, didn't need to do any hunting. The hope is that the Namaqua National Park would give even better shows. Holding thumbs!
