Our last day of travel back home--very sad we will miss our nomadic life. We had got the camp set-up waxed, an hour and tents up, beds made, and braai on the go--pretty good going. But we planning our next trip... Watch this space if you not too bored! Sterkfontein Dam another of our GREAT dams. Last signal stop Sunrise at HOME _________ We spent the weekend sorting and tweaking our set-up, ready for the next time.

Cape Town WEEK 11th to 18th Sept... Anne

Some highlight activities & moments from this week.

As Howard starts school again this week we have to tailor our activities to maximise afternoons. Howard's obsession with Scooters begins and follows us in techni detail for the next 3-weeks and beyond I am sure.

Then the land of a thousand sunsets...

Our first attempt at walking 'THE Mountain' only David made it up to the Kloofnek.
Just too freaking high for me and Howard kept me company--what a gentlemen!

David also started exploring the Cape Town Surf scene and surfed Muizenburg a couple of times, thanks to the loan of Rogers wetsuit--definitely not to be attempted without one TOO COLD, especially for us East Coasters!

Look closely at all the seals aka surfers in the pic ^

We visited MoJo & Oranjezicht market this week. Got the heaviest Melktert I've ever had to carry and had Ice Cream made in front of our eyes.

And the cherry on the top for this week was Lunch @ Richards, the best Lamb Shank ever--Thank You Richard & Lucian for hosting us.
